corpuls – this name stands for cutting-edge medical technology with the highest quality standards.
Nevertheless, the early days with company founder, Günter Stemple, were rather modest: it was in his hobby room in Kaufering, Upper Bavaria, in 1982, that he laid the foundation for "GS Elektromedizinische Geräte G. Stemple GmbH" – corpuls – with his first defibrillator.
The objective of corpuls has always been to develop and build extremely robust and sophisticated devices for preclinical and clinical cardiotherapy. For this reason corpuls has remained thoroughly committed to quality “Made in Germany”, highly qualified engineers and Kaufering as a business location, even in these times of globalisation and increasing cost pressure.
We see ourselves as a company with social responsibility and as a responsible member of society. Our day-to-day aim is to work innovatively on top-quality products that can save lives. We intend to grow sustainably and thus secure the continued survival of the company in the long term.
Our mission statement is aligned with these maxims. They are the foundation for every single corpuls employee, underpinning our day-to-day work.
There’s no reason why the best technology shouldn’t also be visually appealing - and we’ve proved this with our corpuls cpr. In 2016 our chest compression device received the Red Dot Design Award, adding to our long tradition of award-winning corpuls devices and company awards:
“Top Ten Of The Year” from Industrie Forum Design 1995 for the corpuls 08/16
Medical technology category winner INDUSTRIEPREIS 2011
Finalist in the 2012 German innovation award in the Medium-sized Enterprises category
Finalist in two categories in the MEDTEC Europe Award 2012
Selected Landmark 2012 in the Germany – Land of Ideas competition
Bavaria’s Best 50 innovation award
The best possible quality, service life and robustness, geared towards the specific conditions of emergency calls – this has always been our standard for our defibrillators, patient monitoring systems, chest compression devices and software solutions.
The safety of the patient and of the staff in the rescue vehicle during transport takes top priority. Almost all corpuls devices comply with the European DIN EN 1789 (Medical vehicles and their equipment - Road ambulances), parts of the RTCA DO 160 (Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment) and the MIL-STD 810 (US technical military standard that specifies the environmental test conditions for military equipment).
