New corpuls facility supports growth strategy
Address in honour of company founder

“With our modern facility in Igling, we have created the ideal conditions for our continued growth. The move to the new premises has also enabled us to optimise our workflows,” says corpuls CEO Dr Christoph Brönnimann. The production-related departments have been carefully coordinated and logically arranged within the new building, explains COO Marcus Leber: “This reduces walking distances for our employees, simplifies processes and creates the best possible conditions to work efficiently.”

Modern infrastructure for supply chain operations
A total of 170 supply chain employees have already relocated to the new premises in the Igling business park. Further employees will follow over the coming months, and the company is also planning to recruit additional staff. “The two halls, connected by a central structure, now provide employees with twice as much space as before,” says Marcus Leber. The new facilities include a technical training centre, a high-bay warehouse, a robot-assisted order-picking system and a production hall with adjoining office units.

To date, the company has invested almost €24 million in the construction of the new site. It is also planning further buildings for Administration and Research and Development on the 30,000 square metre site, which is located directly alongside the B17 road. The new facility will significantly ease the pressure on space at the company’s headquarters in Kaufering, just a few kilometres away. In recent years, the employees there have had to work in increasingly confined conditions, with some departments moving into rented premises.

New perspectives for strong teams
“With the new building in the Igling business park, we are creating urgently needed capacity to enter new markets and win customers around the world, while at the same time providing a modern and attractive working environment for our employees. In doing so, we are also investing in the people who make this growth possible. That makes the new site all the more valuable,” explains Mr Brönnimann. corpuls has continued to expand the number of its locations in recent years, and the number of employees has consequently doubled over the past four years – to just under 800 today.

Street naming honours the company founder’s courage and values
With its new address, “Günter-Stemple-Straße 1”, the company is paying tribute to its founder and his entrepreneurial vision: “Günter Stemple not only founded our company, but also embodied an attitude that continues to guide us to this day: having the courage to take action and move forward – even when everything is not yet 100% perfect,” says Managing Director Marcus Leber. Addressing the visionary directly, he adds: “Dear Günter, this address is more than just a street name. Every day, it reminds us of how much can be achieved when people have the courage to forge new paths. Thank you for your courage, your vision and your life’s work!”
