In keeping with our motto, “Focus On Patients”, we see it as our responsibility to consider the needs of people today and for future generations. Sustainability is embedded in everything we do. It is an integral part of our day-to-day operations, guiding the way we use resources responsibly and make decisions across our business. By taking this approach, we are committed to creating lasting value for people, society and the environment.
At our two largest sites in Kaufering and Igling, we use 100% renewable electricity, supported by our own photovoltaic systems. The solar panels installed on our new building in Igling alone generate up to 380,000 kWh of electricity each year, reducing our annual CO₂ emissions by around 180 tonnes. We also source our heating through the district heating network, helping to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, increase the use of renewable energy sources and significantly lower our CO₂ emissions.
Small, smart measures help us reduce our energy consumption while lowering operating costs. At our largest sites, for example, the heating system automatically switches off whenever a window is opened. Intelligent temperature controls also reduce heating levels overnight and at weekends, ensuring energy is only used when needed. In addition, the lighting in all rooms is automatically switched off late in the evening, helping to minimise unnecessary energy use.
We are actively supporting the transition to renewable energy in our local communities, taking responsibility for a greener future. Most of our renewable electricity and district heating are sourced from regional energy providers. By doing so, we strengthen the local economy while reducing our dependence on external energy sources.
corpuls solutions have long been recognised for their quality and durability. We design and manufacture our products to be robust enough to withstand the demanding conditions of emergency medical care while ensuring they are ready for future software updates from the outset. Repairs are carried out by our dedicated in-house service team, helping to extend the lifespan of our devices and make the best possible use of valuable resources.
We are committed to environmentally responsible waste management. Our waste is collected and processed by certified specialist contractors, ensuring it is handled and disposed of in accordance with the highest environmental and quality standards.
Although we supply customers around the world, we remain firmly committed to Germany, and Bavaria in particular, as our manufacturing base. That is why we have invested in a new state-of-the-art production facility close to our headquarters in Kaufering. corpuls not only develops and manufactures its products in Germany but also sources a large proportion of the required components domestically, many of them from suppliers in the local region. This unwavering commitment to quality, innovation and local manufacturing is reflected in our products. Most recently, corpuls3/corpuls3T achieved certification under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR), meeting its significantly more stringent requirements and demonstrating our commitment to future-proof medical technologies.
The best technology is only as valuable as the difference it makes to the people who use it. That is why, for more than 40 years, we have been guided by the needs of emergency medical professionals. Our goal is to support them in the field so they can save as many lives as possible. This commitment is reflected in products that are intuitive, reliable and built for the realities of emergency care. The revolutionary modular design of the corpuls3T is just one example of our user-focused approach to product development. As a forward-looking company, we are committed to building lasting relationships with our customers and users by delivering sustainable value, inspiring confidence and earning their trust for the long term.
True to our motto, “Focus On Patients”, we are committed not only to our customers, users and patients, but also to our employees. Their wellbeing is a priority for us. We are dedicated to creating a working environment where people feel valued, supported and able to thrive, encouraging them to remain a valued part of the corpuls family for the long term.
For us, sustainability also means taking responsibility for our employees and making thoughtful use of their time, skills and expertise. We foster an open, supportive and respectful workplace culture where people feel valued and can maintain a healthy work-life balance. To support this, we offer flexible working hours, enable remote working and provide opportunities for workations and sabbaticals. Employees who take on industry-related voluntary roles or special responsibilities within the company are also granted additional paid leave.
Supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees is equally important. We provide an on-site fitness studio, a wide range of free wellbeing activities, including yoga and back care classes, as well as complimentary massages. Beyond the workplace, our colleagues regularly come together through a variety of social and leisure groups, enjoying activities such as hiking, climbing, beach volleyball and aqua fitness.
At corpuls, no two career paths are the same. We encourage every employee to grow and develop in line with their individual ambitions, strengths and goals. To support this, we invest in a wide range of professional development opportunities, including further education, training programmes, coaching and professional development courses that help our colleagues realise their full potential, both professionally and personally.
Understanding how our employees experience their day-to-day work - and where we can improve - is essential to us. That is why we regularly invite our colleagues to share their feedback through anonymous employee surveys. These insights help us understand what people value most about working at corpuls and identify opportunities for further improvement. By listening, learning and acting on feedback, we continue to develop as a company while strengthening employee engagement and long-term commitment.
We are committed to fair and transparent employment terms and working conditions, with a strong focus on long-term employment. Temporary contracts are used only in exceptional circumstances to manage periods of increased demand, and we deliberately keep their share of our workforce below 10%. Our employees also benefit from competitive remuneration, comprehensive employee benefits and flexible, predictable working hours that support a healthy work-life balance.
